Just last week, my family and Travis reserved seats at Manbok Chinatown Korean BBQ & Steamboat, where all the food there is prepared by highly skilled chefs from Korea; so felt comfortable it was going to be an authentic experience.
After we were seated, the steamboat was started up by the staff and we could begin taking what we wanted on the buffet table!
As shown, there is actually a wide variety of meats, rice, seaweed soup (which tasted like the Japanese miso seaweed soup) and Tteokbokki, a traditional Korean rice cake dish.
There was a lot of seafood too (which got me really excited – I love seafood!)
We quickly took whatever we wanted to eat and went back to our table and set up the BBQ grill.
I ate a lot that night and it was a super filling experience! The meat and seafood were all very fresh, and tasted so delicious I kept going back to take more!
The service was excellent and the staff helped us to change the grill as soon as it was starting get charred from all the grilling.
Overall, if you ever feel like having authentic Korean food which is a buffet and steamboat, definitely make your way down to Manbok Korean BBQ and Steamboat in Chinatown!
