When it comes to beauty trends, Korean is the word. Right now, Korean beauty and products are all the rage in Singapore and there are no signs of it stopping! Here are some beauty tips and trends that found their way here. In fact, I think this list compiles all of the popular Korean trends that we are starting to see everywhere in Singapore!

Cushion Foundation

The very first one is something that can be found in almost every beauty store here in Singapore: cushion foundation. Where do I even begin?!

Cushion foundation is actually foundation soaked in a cushion and is more lightweight compared to the normal liquid foundations. Some plus points of a cushion foundation are actually the small compact case it comes in together with a puff sponge applicator! This is a huge bonus for convenience as you can just take it along with you! Also, a cushion foundation gives you more control during application which can be a bit tricky if you were using a regular liquid foundation! Based on your preferences, cushion foundation can give you a dewy glow, or a matte one. Whichever you prefer, it is pretty hard to ignore that the cushion foundation trend will not be stepping aside for now!

Flower Jelly Lipstick

Moving on to the next trend is a flower jelly lipstick (yup, you heard right!) named Kailijumei. This company is based in China and it is taking the beauty world by storm! The pretty floral lipstick is flying off the shelves everywhere for the right reason; it is super pretty. It’s a clear lipstick with jelly, flecks of gold and a flower right in the middle! Who wouldn’t go crazy over that?! Also, the sweet glossy pink that tints your lip changes with your body temperature!! There’s literally no way words, nor do pictures do it justice. You have to get your very own one!

Straight Brows

Okay, the third trend that you see in Singapore nowadays is nothing shocking or fascinating like the Kailijumei Flower Lipstick but it is something that frames your eyes and make you look younger. I’m talking about the straight brows look that the Koreans favor! Straighter looking brows with no visible arches makes a person look innocent and sweet. Who wouldn’t want to look younger than their actual age?

Chrome Nails

Time to take a break from talking about the face, eyebrows and lips! The fourth trend is actually chrome nails. Chrome nails are a new and shiny nail trend and they are sometimes referred to as mirror nails. It’s super eye catching and gorgeous so many people are really digging these chrome nails! There are so many variations you can choose from and all of them are so beautiful.  Just look at pastel like chrome nails below! Pretty blinding right?

Ombre Lip

The final trend is something that I am wearing out almost every time I leave my place; it’s the ombre lip look. This ombre lip look originated from yes and you guessed it, Korea again. It is a gradient look that is so soft and subtle yet you are also able to brighten it up with eye catching colors as well.
